Ski Nationals at Mont St Anne

The Callaghan Valley Training Centre Team (CVTC) team is making a strong showing at the 2012 National Championships. In the Junior Men’s 10km classic technique race on Monday, Jeffrey Kerkovious (Kelowna,, BC) was second, Martin Schrama (Canmore, AB) was third and Geoffrey Richards (Rossland, BC) was sixth. In the same event, in the U23 category, Colin Abbott (Whitehorse YUK) finished fourth.

On Tuesday Geoffrey Richards won the Junior Men’s 15km free technique race by a minute.  On Thursday Geoffrey was third in the Junior Men’s 1.4km free technique sprint race, with Martin Schrama finishing eighth. In the Open Men’s sprint event, in the U23 category, Colin Abbott again finished fourth.

 

The final day of competition will be on Saturday the 24th.
